FAQs

Q:  What allergens are your products free from?

All of our raw ingredients are peanut-free, and tree nut-free (including coconut) as well as produced in nut free facilities.

Q:  Are you products made in an allergy-friendly environment?

Yes, all of our products are made in a licensed commercial kitchen that is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.  We are also food allergy trained to ensure the safest handling and production of our products.

Q: Where is your chocolate from?

We use high quality couverture chocolate that is produced in the United States.

 Q: What is couverture chocolate?

Couverture chocolate is high quality chocolate with a minimum cocoa butter content of at least 31%. Couverture chocolate has a smooth and rich flavor.  It is more expensive than regular chocolate because cocoa butter is the most expensive ingredient.  We do not use any chocolate containing vegetable or palm oils.

Q: Are your products Kosher certified?

All of our raw chocolate ingredients are Kosher Dairy certified.  Many of our colorful designs (also known as transfer sheets) are also Kosher dairy certified (please reach out for confirmation regarding a specific design if this is needed).

Q: Do you make anything that contains sesame?

We do not use any sesame products in our processes.

Q: How should I store my chocolates?

Chocolate is best stored at a cool room temperature (60-70°F), well wrapped to keep moisture out, and away from highly scented foods or aromatic products that might be absorbed by the chocolate. Chocolate is a stable product that does not require refrigeration. Ideally, it should not be refrigerated as this will change the appearance of the chocolate. Specifically, the condensation that forms when it is taken from the refrigerator will cause sugar bloom. This results in white spots or streaks on the chocolate’s surface.

Q:  What is the shelf life of your products?

It is best to enjoy your chocolates within 3 weeks of purchase when they are at their peak flavor.  Solid chocolates will have a longer shelf life as long as they are stored correctly; they may last up to 6 months or longer.

Q: Can your chocolate be melted down for molding?

No, it requires melting in a tempering machine for best results.

Q:  Do you have a retail location?

No.  We are currently an on-line business, and also do pop-up events within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area.  We ship our products within the United States.  We do not offer any international shipping options at this time.
